The first process of the project entailed the removal of ceilings from the ticket of ce complex while still maintaining the stations normal operations. To successfully achieve this we set up control measures to dust and ventilation services.
Clapham Junction Train Station is one of the busiest Rail Stations in Europe, handling up to 50,000 passengers per day. H.A. Marks designed and installed vitreous enamel cladding and a ceiling for the project located at the Ticket Hall and the Grant Road entrance.
This project consisted of STO Insulated Render Systems to the main external walls and Coloured Laminate Panels to the Stair Cores and Circulation Areas, Cedar Infills installed around front doors.
The project was an Over Clad system to a 1960's concrete built block funded by CESP, to improve both Aesthetics and Thermal Performance.

A general refurbishment and application of new cladding for the residential property of Langdon House in London.
Retro-Installation, Overcladding an existing 1960's block of flats which was poorly insulated. The works involved overcladding the existing building with 125mm layer of EPS and Render System in Permarock.
Insulated & Solid Coloured Rendering Systems
This prestigious project required the use of both Solid and insulated renders, using 3 different insulation mediums, EPS, Mineral & Phenolic boards, in varying thickness’s to suit the differing substrates, added to this the varying colours and finishes, of Orange, Black, Grey and White in varying grain sizes, plus Superlit black natural aggregate finish at DPC plinth level.
Particular care was required to ensure that the sharp demarcation between different coloured renders was maintained.
Our contract involved the supply and installantion of 3000 M/Sq external wall insulated render and 1000M/Sq Western Red Cedar Timber rain screen system and associated flashings for Mansell Construction.
Substrates were a mixture of lightsteel from, RC concrete & solid blockwall. The overall scheme was the provision of 168 cluster flats/studios, ancillary accommodation and primary school to the lower floors to accommodate 240 pupils and 30 staff.
The works consisted of the installation of the overclad to the existing facades part render finish, part brickslip finish, including adaptations to existing fixtures and fittings.

The scope of works requested that we apply an Alsecco insulated render system to the shop front elevation and to the columns only of the side elevation.
In order to complete this project we utilised our specialist render team which was supervised and managed by a senior manager.
